Las Vegas is one my favorite cities in the entire world! Maybe it’s the lights, vibes or booze, but I’m obsessed with Vegas. After traveling here more time than I can count, here are my 30 tips for an amazing trip to Las Vegas.
Bali’s sweltering heat and humidity makes for some not-so-cute travel moments and at times you may feel like you can’t escape it. But, past the Ubud Palace and nestled amongst the rice paddies lies a cool and hidden sanctuary unlike any other. It is this part of Bali that you will find the legendary and exotic Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, a preserved jungle filled with thousands of cute and friendly Balinese monkeys.
I may not be the ultimate Disney fanatic (I don’t have a Minnie Mouse tattoo, I don’t have Disney bumper stickers and I don’t have more than 3 pairs of Minnie ears), but as a SoCal resident, I’m no stranger to the Magic Kingdom. The news came on a beautiful, cool night in Bali. We were enjoying an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet on the Sky Garden rooftop with our new friends, Sarah of Fit Travels and her husband Paul, as the sun set in Legian. From travel magazines to blogs to Instagram, it appeared that Morocco was a major travel destination of 2015. After seeing gorgeous photos and hearing travelers wax poetic about this foreign land, I was so excited to finally visit this part of Africa. But when everyone asked where we went on our honeymoon, I simply stated, “I went to Morocco and no, I did not love it.”
Pine trees whizzed past us at an impressing speed while pockets of fresh snow nestled in the passing, rolling hills greeted us in the distance.
